Ted, now in his late 80's, was born in 1921 in West Croydon, Surrey and now lives in Southampton. He has four children, eight grandchildren and one great grandson.

He is very much retired and was formerly a RAF Warrant Officer with 29 years service. Then became a bank officer, finally retiring after 17 years in 1985 as an Assistant Manager.

Age has taken its toll and walking in now difficult. Poorer eyesight means that reading and computer work is very much restricted.

He has helped considerably in creating a very large family history, having traced family members back to around 1690. Today the family is very widesperead throughout North America and parts of the Far East. We keep in touch with regular e-mails via a family set up. Phone calls using Skype are fairly frequent.

Hopefully I might be around for a little while yet.
